Exploring History and Inspiring Space Enthusiasts through Art and Imagination

Florida artist Christopher Maslow has transformed the northwest exterior wall of NASA’s Kennedy Space Center’s Press Site News Facility into a stunning mural. Created throughout 2021 and unveiled on January 10, 2022, this expansive artwork showcases significant landmarks, missions, and milestones from NASA’s rich history and its renowned spaceport.

Situated at the heart of launch broadcasts, the Press Site News Facility also houses the center’s TV auditorium. For many years, alongside the neighboring NASA News Center, Kennedy’s Press Site has served as a vital location where reporters representing television, radio, print, and online media have closely observed numerous launches, landings, and other noteworthy space events to disseminate the latest news worldwide.
